ABOUT THERAPY
"It is a joy to be hidden, and disaster not to be found"
With a listening ear, therapy aims to support and question you, so that you can explore the conflicts that may be arising. You will have relationships and experiences, both past and present, that inform who you are. At different times in life, difficulties arise without realising and therapy is a safe and confidential space to discuss what might be coming up.
Therapy with me can enable you to notice where an imbalance might lay, providing a regular space to listen and get to know yourself a little better.
ABOUT ME
I am a registered member of the UKCP, trained at WPF Therapy and describe myself as a psychodynamic psychotherapist.
I work with a diverse range of people including those who want to discuss their experiences of depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, pregnancy, peri and post menopause, addiction and grief. Whilst a specific issue may bring you to therapy, I always work with the whole person and you may find that unexpected difficulties arise during our work together.
My previous career was working for two decades in the arts, with young people and adults in various community and education settings in London.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
I charge a standard fee of £80 a session, with some availability for those on a low income or in training.
I work in person at Hackney Therapy, Kingsland Road, E8, nearest tube Haggerston.
I offer sessions once or twice weekly, and work with adults.
Initially we will arrange a time to speak on the phone (free, lasting 20mins) so we can meet each other briefly and discuss next steps.
