ABOUT THERAPY
"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you "
With a listening ear, therapy aims to support and question you, so that you can explore the conflicts that may be arising. You will have relationships and experiences, both past and present, that inform who you are. At different times in life, difficulties arise without realising and therapy is a safe and confidential space to talk about the feelings that are arising for you..
Therapy with me can enable you to notice where an imbalance might lay, providing a regular space to listen and get to know yourself a little better.
ABOUT ME
I am a registered member of the UKCP, trained at WPF Therapy and describe myself as a psychodynamic psychotherapist.
I work with a diverse range of people, and for example, have experience of working with individuals who are encountering challenges with depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, neurodiversity, pregnancy, peri and post menopause. Whilst a specific issue may bring you to therapy, I work with you as a whole person and you may find that other difficulties arise during our work together.
Previously to setting up my private practice I worked with adults and young people in community and educational settings.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
I charge £80 a session, with lower cost availability for those on a low income or in training.
I work in person at Hackney Therapy, Kingsland Road, E8, nearest tube Haggerston.
I offer sessions once or twice weekly, and work with adults.
Initially we will arrange a time to speak on the phone (free, lasting 20mins) so we can meet each other briefly and discuss next steps, with no obligation.
